Win Movie Tickets In "Where's Bella?" Contest

The Shopping News readers have the opportunity to win four free tickets to Penn Cinema Movie Theater, Lititz, in the "Where's Bella?" contest. Each week, "Bella" the black lab will be traveling and posing throughout The Shopping News delivery area. Readers are asked to identify the location where the photo was taken. Terre Hill Centennial Celebration Planned

The Terre Hill Days committee is busy planning numerous activities for the upcoming Terre Hill Days Celebration and Centennial event. Terre Hill will be celebrating 100 years this year and their theme is "Honor the Past, Celebrate the Present, Imagine the Future," and a multitude of activities are planned during the celebration. Terre Hill Days are set to run Wednesday, July 18 to Sunday, July 22 in the park. There will be food, games, rides, a car cruise, music, historic trolley tours, and much more. Numerous memorabilia items are also available including crocks by Bujno Pottery, limited edition wooden bowls, votive cups centennial coins, and t-shirts, as shown displayed in the photo with Jan Garrabrandt (standing) and Valerie Gregory (seated). This annual community celebration is sponsored by the Terre Hill Days committee and all proceeds benefit the Terre Hill Park. Thomas The Tank Engine Chugs Along Local Tracks

Thomas The Tank Engine rolled into the Strasburg Railroad last week, much to the delight of local children and tourists visiting our area. Thomas makes a few appearances at the railroad during the year. The next dates scheduled are Saturday, September 15 to Sunday, September 23; and Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 30, December 1 and December 2. Thomas was based on the railway series of books created by Reverend Wilbert Awdry, and a British TV series featured Thomas in the first broadcast in 1984. Thomas is shown chugging up the tracks in rural Lancaster County as he carries another group of passengers.

Reinholds VFW Auxiliary Presents Donations

The Reinholds VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Post 6759 presented checks to local emergency groups recently.
